Congratulations! I am 57 years old ... and in the best shape of my adult life. I got serious about living a healthier lifestyle a few years ago and am SO glad I did. I've had my ups and downs, but the effort is slowly paying off.

Keep up the good work?

Take a picture of yourself after each 10 lbs. and keep them in a scrapbook, dates too, so you can remember it better.

Congratulations! I always measure weight loss in two ways.. how much hamburger it would be! And multiples of my infant granddaughter's birth weight!

Congrats!!! Have you seen what 5 lbs of fat looks like? Thats a large volume of weight loss, AND do you know that you already over 10% of your weight loss goal?!!! That's awesome, you are well on your way.

Imagine, if you lose 1-2 lbs per week, where you will be by new years? That's 9-18 more pounds down!

You can do this, keep it up!

check out that link to see what 5lbs of fat looks like!

and of course losing 10 lbs makes it so much easier to get around, I mean imagine if someone strapped 2 5lb bags of flour to your back and told you to wear that all day!

Good luck, and keep us updated

I am so happy, I have finally reached my first 10 lbs. lost and I am SOOOOOOOO excited. I just knew if I could lose 10# that I would be able to do I have motivation I've been lacking. I'll be down to my normal weight by August of 2013 and I will be in the shape of my adult life at 58 years young!

Ooh, can't you feel how tickled I am???
