I'm glad to announce that I've met and beat my weight goal that I have been fighting for since the birth of my first child.

Sounds like you're ready for the 5K. It's amazing how good you can feel about yourself after a run, isn't it? The pride displaces any physical exhaustion.

I have been training for a 5K for about 5 weeks now. Tonight I decided to do an unscheduled run just to see where I was at. I ran 3.3 miles in 43 minutes!!!!! I have never done that before!!!!! I used to hate running but now I see why people do it...I feel so good! Now that I know I can do it, I will use the rest of my time before the 5K to try to improve my time!!!!! So excited!
