I got mine done almost 15 yrs ago, at the time I told dh that I would rather have a baby (I had both our boys vaginally, without any problems at all) than to have my tubal done. Trust me the pain will subside & you will be so glad that you had it done :)
Listen to your body, don't try to do too much.

I got mine done five years ago, and trust me, it stops hurting. You do need to listen to the doctor though. They went in through my belly button, I'm assuming they did yours the same way. Would you rather take it easy and gain a few pounds you can work off, or do too much too fast and rip something lose and have to have surgery again and run the risk of being laid up longer? If you have anything done to your core, then it needs time to heal. If they said two weeks, take it. You're not going to gain enough weight in two weeks that you can't work off unless you go on a sweets-carbs-high calorie every day bender.
Thanks tabitha. Its funny the nurse told me I couldn't work out for 2 wks. So I take it easy but am still moving around the house. Now I am bout to head to bed and watch some tv until I fall asleep.

I had my tubes done a little bit ago and yes day two sucks!! I think day two and three were the worse but it really does get better. YOU NEED TO REST!! Just chill! Take advantage of this time and you will get better faster.

Listen to what your doctor said! Your body needs to heal. Rushing back can really hurt you in the long run.
I just got my tubes tied yesterday and it feels like I got hit by a truck. I felt worse today than yesterday. I have just surfed the net about getting this process down, I am only coming across horror stories, for instances some women got the procedure done and about 2 years ago and they feel paid till this day. I don't want to be in rut. Some say you need to rest and I get it but I don't want to be just resting for ever and start to gain weight. I am very active, I like water areobics, zumba, zumba wii, the wii fit and I do a ton of workout dvds.Just ordered the Brazil Butt lift. I don't' want to gain weight. for just sitting. Do anyone know how long do you have to just rush, or should I push myself little by little. Please anyone in Spark world please give me some good advice. Thanks
