I won't get into details but I will say today has not gone well. I found myself in the kitchen at 5pm making dinner for the kids and feeling like I had blown the entire day anyway so why not just eat everything in sight? I had one piece of chocolate (50 cals), poured myself a glass of water and sat down with my food diary to regroup and figure out the best way to get myself dinner without going way overboard. I'm still going over my calories for the day but by 250, not 2500. There's a slice of leftover birthday cake in my fridge and I walked away from it!
