Great job taking a step back. I had a day like that too. Sometimes I sabotage myself because I get on the scale and see a loss so then I feel like I deserve something as a reward which leads to something else and something else. I was disheartened at the end of the day but made a conscious effort to close that day out and get back on track the next day. It's so hard to make the positive changes permanent so we have to keep concentrating on them. And we have so many other things to concentrate on but you did it and are going to keep chugging along. Good for you!!! - Stay positive!
I won't get into details but I will say today has not gone well. I found myself in the kitchen at 5pm making dinner for the kids and feeling like I had blown the entire day anyway so why not just eat everything in sight? I had one piece of chocolate (50 cals), poured myself a glass of water and sat down with my food diary to regroup and figure out the best way to get myself dinner without going way overboard. I'm still going over my calories for the day but by 250, not 2500. There's a slice of leftover birthday cake in my fridge and I walked away from it!
