Congratulations, it is such a great feeling. I reached that myself just 3 months ago. You commented about possibly doing it faster, you have a great perspective though on that and you are right to think slower is better. What my wife and I have learned in the last 9+ months since we began our journey to a healthier lifestyle is how important it is to develop and be consistent with those new habits. Many times the quick off is quick back on. You have learned how to take it off, and can take that knowledge and those habits with you as you keep it off. After reaching a healthy BMI, I took some time but now realize I would like to lose about 10 more pounds. You learn what is best for you. Congrats again and keep up the good work.

I got up around 0530 this morning and got on the scale. I can now say that I'm officially into the HEALTHY BMI CATEGORY and I've hit my (revised) goal with a total loss of 94 pounds. It's been an interesting road and took 412 consecutive days of cardio mixed with 2 to 3 days a week of strength training along with watching calories consumed, but I've arrived.
Yes, I probably could have done it quicker, but it took ten years of sitting at a desk, packing on the pounds, getting more unhealthy by the minute. However, I feel comfortable with the time I took in getting back to where I am and "they" say it's more healthy to do only a couple of pounds a week.
So officially, I'VE ARRIVED!! I have joined the exclusive club of adult Americans in the healthy range. It's been a while since I've been there, but I'm staying this time, never to return to the dreaded Obese or Morbidly Obese category.
