way to go! i always thought i wasn't a runner. i started last year, and slowly built up my distance. i feel so good after a run.

Congrats! I just finished week 4 of a 9 week couch-5k program and can't believe I'm running for 5 minutes at a time. It sounds so small, but I've always hated running and now I look forward to it every day!
Proud of you. :) I too would perish by the chainsaw killer as I cannot run... Now kickboxing, I might have a chance. :)

That's so awesome!!! I just started running also and I'm loving it! After making it two miles without slowing down (my first goal) I rewarded myself with one of those armband iPod holders. I know it sounds silly, but it makes me feel like a legit runner now. Ha ha
I am so pleased for you! Tell us all about your running successes in the future. We love to hear about each other's successes, even if they are different from our own.

I actually ran for the first time in years today, and I am so incredibly happy with myself! It was about 3km and I pushed myself to keep going! I want to keep running and get better at it and maybe do a race in the future if I keep it up!
