Way to go! Junk food is so hard to resist for me, too, especially fast food. My husband loves McDonald's, so that doesn't help. Lol.
It's encouraging to see that someone is fighting the good fight, even with that kind of temptation.

amazing!! so proud of you! I went shopping on sat, and stared at my fav fried food for about 1 min. had a conv with myself and walked away without buying it.
So, i know how hard it is, but, how strong you are to say no to junk food! keep up the great work!
p.s. i often found "rewarding myself" with a healthier version of my cravings stops me from binge eating the food i crave for. ie. if i want some fries, i will have a small potatoes (no trimmings /tops.. otherwise, i might as well have the fries... :-D)
crunchy chips with dippings, i do carrots with hummus. so far so good. :-)

It is something you can teach yourself... that is to only eat 3 fries. I know because I have done it. All the best for 2013.

I just have to share my WOO HOO moment from Saturday night. We had a very busy day with lots of friends visiting and had friends staying overnight as well. Everyone decided to get McDonalds and even though I drove to McDonalds and helped purchase the food - I didn't buy any for myself. I went home and ate a Lite and Easy healthy dinner while everyone else had burgers and chips.
I never thought that I would be that strong person who could do that. :) Especially as junk food has always been my weakness. I can say no to chocolate and icecream but never to hot chips.
I do confess that I ate 3 of my son's fries but compared to what I would have eaten in the past, I am okay with that. :) :)
