I'm doing INSANITY and I love it. I haven't had any problems with my knees. I think if you listen to Shaun T and land softly, use correct form and know your limits it is a GREAT program. I am losing weight consistently.

Well the amount of calories would depend on how old you are, how active you are, and how tall you are. But the comment about the Insanity stressing somebody out, well I think that would be a matter of personal preference. I love the program, it offers a variety of exercise and I feel less stress. I also use my treadmill for some good old fashion exercise. I know not everybody likes the same thing and people should do what they enjoy and what works for them.

One of my friends is doing them. From what she tells me, it is a great way to stress yourself out and wear yourself down. I wouldn't ever try it, and I do 12+ mile runs on the weekends. I think you're more likely to injure your knees doing "Insanity" than get a healthy workout. Exercise should be sustainable not ... insane.

Try good old fashioned biking, running, or swimming 3-4x a week and mix it with weight training and a good diet.

Hi there! I am getting about 1500 calories per day.. Maybe I should up my calorie intake?

Hey there CHOCOLATELOVE94, I am no expert but my advice to you is check how many calories you are eating. You may not be eating enough calories. I usually diet by cutting out to many calories, but this time I have increased my calorie intake and I am still losing weight. I am not going with the calorie amount that Insanity recommends but eating more then ever on a diet.

On my 4th week of insanity, haven't seen any results yet... :( But, endurance and strength definitely gone up. Hope to see some results soon!

I'm doing Insanity. I'm on the second week of Month 2. Wait until you get to month 2. It's so much crazier.

I started the Insanity workouts last Saturday. The first day I needed to take about 100 breaks, I was sooooo out of shape (it has been a year since I worked out). But slowly I have been able to keep up and take fewer breaks. I love the variety the Insanity provides as well as I love that I feel I am working hard for a short period of time. By the time I finish my workout I am dripping sweat, and only after about 40 min. Whereas when I was jogging on the treadmill for 40 minutes I would not sweat as much.

LOVE INSANITY! emoticon
