My doc recently put me on the Dukan Diet to give me the incentive for changing my nutrition for the rest of my life... it's been hard as I never had a real regimen so I'm going to try it on her direction and with her supervision.
It's been going quite well, I actually sleep and wake up a lot better now that I've cut sugar and carbs (even potatoes and parsnips *sigh*) from my diet FOR NOW. I get to add them back eventually so no worries!
Except I do get to eat Oat Bran, which I already LOVE... just can't have the 1/2 cup of it with 1/4 cup of brown sugar haha. But hey, Cinnamon and Vanilla work great as sweeteners! Same with Soy milk. Huh.
Anyways, just wanted to say hi. I ride horses, between 3 and 5 days a week for exercise and while I work a desk job I'm always walking around. Best thing bout the Dukan so far is that it's made me really drink a lot of water!
