There's a girl in my office that might weigh 120. She could eat anything and everything and not gain a pound. Makes me sick!!

My junk food eaters are also in my home. Not a husband but family members. When they make or buy tempting treats, I have to ask? Can I really afford that? Would eating that really make me happy? Usually the answer is no.

I work in a pretty small office. My boss and I usually bring our lunches, and this guy who shares our office space usually goes out to lunch. I feel fortunate that I don't have to deal with an office area where people are eating junk food all the time and offering it to me, because some things, like cake, would be hard for me to resist.

My husband's so silly. He's been watching me on this journey for over 8 months now, and still doesn't understand that a 20 minute walk is not going to make the pounds fall off. I still encourage and support him doing so (he's extremely sedentary, and up until recently hasn't physically been able to walk that far) but he knows he has to change what he eats... he sees what I'm doing, and I talk about it a lot.

He's just not ready to cross that bridge yet.

When he is, though? I'm there 100%. GEtting impatient though... I need a healthy eating buddy!

Seriously...they could be the same person! Mine always complains about how his stomach hurts...especially in the morning and after eating. Good luck getting him to go to the doctor though. Last night, as I was laying some frozen fries out on a baking sheet to cook them he said, "Just because you're eating less, how come I have to eat less?" *biting my tongue*

Yep. Constantly. Almost never eats breakfast, and I have to nag him to eat lunch. He has a bit of an excuse (he has a medical condition that leaves his stomach upset, particularly in the mornings) - but he more than makes up for it in the afternoon because he's starved himself all day!

Umm...are you sure your husband and my boyfriend aren't the same person? You could be speaking about my daily life at dinner time. Does your husband skip meals all the time too?

No, worse. I have a junk food eater at HOME.

The worst part of it is my husband is always complaining about his weight... but once we eat dinner, he starts snacking, and he eats MASSIVE quantities. I try to gently tell him it's not a good idea, or just stick with one... but he doesn't listen, and I'm not going to nag him about it and hurt his feelings, since that won't work.

Do you have junk food eaters in your office? I always abstain from the snacks brought in to share with the office...chips, cookies, cakes, etc. People always ask me if I'm having any and I say no thank you. It always looks good but I just remind myself that it's complete junk.

I bring in some fruits and veggies every day for my between meal snacks. Today I walked in with my little Ziploc bags of baby carrots (daily standard) and fresh strawberries. I had several comments about how good my strawberries look and how they wished they had some. Well whose turn is it to be jealous now?

Maybe I'll inspire some healthy eating habits in my office! *fingers crossed*
