I've been told that weight loss is 80% nutrition and 20% fitness - also that jogging helps but we also need strength training to build muscles so our bodies burn more calories. Jogging ranks an intensity of 7 on a scale of 1-10, where skipping rope is the max 10 and sleeping rates a 0.9.

So it certainly will burn a hunk of calories in a short time.

Welcome to sparks - so glad you have joined us

Take time to make up a sparkpage - you will get a lot of encouragement when you do so

Also take time to participate on all the groups you have joined - encouragement is giving there also

As for jogging I am sure that it will help with weight loss especially if you combine proper eating

Will jogging help me reduce my weight as am having problem shifting the weight. I have started jogging 4 times in a week and I am in the third week.
