I googled red floral print dresses and found a lot of things.

I know what you mean though. You have a dress in mind and it has to be just right.

Thanks, MANDITERRIOR. Having my dress made will be my last resort, IF, I can find a fabric that I like, otherwise, I will be forced to be somewhat traditional.

@ EMMNYC - I'll continue to check the dresses at Nordstroms. And thanks for the hint about the "free shipping". I might not have looked at it that way. ;) I still have time, but it's going by quickly.

I find Nordstrom online to have a great selection of dresses. You sort by colour - e.g., red. There weren't a lot of red patterned dresses at the moment, but I did see this one. It seems to be available in a regular and a plus size version. Here's a link to the plus size version:

Don't be afraid to order online. If your order is over a certain threshold ($200, I think), delivery is free. You could order two sizes of the same dress and then send one (or both) back. There will be a small charge for returning the dresss, but it's not significant.

Macys online would also be a good option for dress hunting.

Do you know someone who could make you a dress? If you could find the fabric that you liked? I have never seen a dress in anything close to what you describe.

Hi! Thought I'd request help from those that might just see what I'm looking for. I'm wanting a mid-calf patterned dress for my dd's wedding this coming July. I have seen some already, but not in the colors I'd want. Her colors are clover, tangerine, peach and a peony red. I'm wanting a pattern with mostly red. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone about this. Thanks, mary
