Congrats on the loss Blue. I've had that issue some the last week. I started snacking more again. I need to cut back on it. This week I'm down too!

157.4 only down .9lbs but i am not complaining especially with how bad last week was with eating! I am starting new this week have to get my eating under control!!!

I logged my weight but want to post it here also to make sure. My weight last Friday (my weight in day) was 77.5 kg (170.86 pound).

It will be a struggle to keep up with that weight next Friday since I have not been eating right this weekend, well we will see !

The only link which works for me is the one on your very first post - which is now showing as Week 1 weights, so I'll be able to record my weight. It's funny how the links work for some people & not others. I wonder what is going on??

Oh the-more-girl you make me smile :) I accept your challenge hahaha. I have a lot to do to keep up my performance from the last time. First off I have to start going back to the gym every weekday. I have gotten away from that :(. I love this challenge as well because there is so much support!

Welcome! It's a good place to get support, that's for sure! Most of the people around here try to focus on good habits instead of the pounds, because that's what has to happen over the long run. I am happy you're joining us on this challenge! The last one was a lot of fun, and it's easier than some of the more involved ones, so it's a good first challenge (it was my first, as well).

I'm in. This is my first challenge. Well, actually, it's my first day on sparkpeople! But I've been working on my own since the first of the year. I've yet to lose a pound but I'm hoping that this site will help me stay on track on be accountable. I know it's coming!

I hope you all are doing well remember this challenge Officially starts this coming Monday so you will have from the 23rd until the 30th at Midnight to post your first week results I will send you guy a sparkmail reminding you of this as well! I got a new scale last week, so I put in a new starting weight today. I'm at 311.2. Looking forward to starting this up! It really motivated me last time.

Starting weight on 11 Jan 2011: 179.33.

I'm up just under a pound since my final weigh-in for the Jolliest Loser Challenge, so I need to get back on track!

I've just recorded my weight - the link that Blueskies put in her first post worked when I copied & paste it.

Whatever is posted up til the 23rd is your starting weight then the challenge continues until march 19th. The link if i do it right should stay the same lol. You just had to record your weight before every monday at at midnight EST so for intsance if you put in ur weight today you wont have to post anoother weight until Jan 30th before midnight. If you gain weight between now and the 23rd you can register again and ill take whatever is the highest weight for you. Then first official weigh in which you want to try to lose or maintain your start weight will be the 30th. I hope this helps :D if you have any other questions let me know!

Ok I'm in! The only part I don't get is when do I start posting my weights and where? Are we officially posting weights after the 23rd or do we start now? I'm new to these kinds of challenges, so I'm excited and ready to learn how to do this! lol... Will there be a link like that every week? I was able to get the original link to work..

Hello All!!!! So I participated in the HOLIDAY EDITION of this Challenge and it was a lot of fun!!! We had a blast and helped each other throughout the holiday season. I offered to run the next one. I am new to running challenges and doing all that goes into this one. So please be patient with me and I will do my best. I can wait to see the results this challenge will bring for all of those who choose to participate.

To be part of the current challenge you need to join by Monday, January 23rd, by midnight EST. After that you will need to wait until the next one.

We will record our weights (and % body fat if you happen to measure it) once a week, for 8 weeks (through March 19th). You can use any method for calculating your weight that you like. (For example, you can use the weighted moving average from PhysicsDiet.com)

RULES:

1. Post your weigh-in every week no later than midnight Eastern Time, Monday, on a link that will be provided.

2. You can post your weekly weight anytime during the week, but must be no later than midnight EST on Monday.

3. If you gain, you are OUT of the running for the title of Highest Sprung Loser.
(But keep logging for the motivation and result that you will still be able to accomplish even if you gain one week!)

4. If you don't post your weight each week by midnight on Monday, you are OUT of the challenge altogether.

5. If you lose or maintain, you stay IN the challenge for the title of Highest Sprung Loser.

6. The challenge will run for eight weeks (through March 19) or until there are three participants remaining, whichever is sooner.

There will be no late weigh-ins or late sign ups. This means if you post at or after 12:01am Eastern Time on Tuesday, you are OUT of the challenge.
