I'm rather disappointed in my fellow MEN here. While I understand there is a MEN's forum that shouldn't mean they should ignore all the good information on this forum. Parenting is meant for both parents. Shame on you guys. TSK TSK

If this little scolding doesn't get your attention, then think of it this way. "KNOW YOUR ENEMY". LOL Knowledge is good my friends. If this is a sign of how much attention men give to parenting and their wives, then maybe the MEN bashers on this site have a point. I hope not. God Bless

Yeh, I just figured that out. What's up with that? Don't they like to learn about good parenting? LOL

Most men don't post here... but in the Guys' Lounge message board.

HHHMMM, either I'm the only one here that loves their wife and children, or I'm the only MAN on the site. Which is it?

My wife and I have been together since 81 and have been happily married since 85. We have two great children. Our son is 22 and presently a 2nd Lt. in the ARMY. Our daughter is going into her Senior year of college and is in the AFROTC. She will be getting married this coming January.

It would take me forever to tell of all our adventures, trials and tribulations. Like any family, there have been times when we struggled with issues. We didn't always come to the same conclusions and we didn't always end all happy. But our love held us together and kept us above the petty differences that life has to throw at us.

So with that, I want to say that I love my wife and children more than life itself. With all our faults and all the little issues that have come up over the years, I wouldn't trade what we have for anything. God has blessed us and I'm sure he will continue to bless us. I pray that all my fellow MALES on this site feel the same and will join me in thanking and appreciating what we have in our wives and children. God Bless

The nice women of this site have a great thread called, "Loving Our Husbands ( and children too)!!" It was created out of respect for their Husbands and Children and a way to express their love for them. I asked if men ever join their discussions and it appears they normally don't. While I'm not much for "segregation", there are times when it is done right and for the right purpose. They aren't being secretive or shunning their Husbands or Children, they are openly showing their love and respect for them. So I applaud them for that. Spouses and children can sometimes test another person's sanity at times, but that's life. But they should not be judged so harshly for their negatives when their positives far outweigh them.

So I've decided to create our own, MEN's thread for thanking and showing respect and love for our wives and children. Since there are less men than women on this site, it will never be as active as their thread, but at least it gives us a platform to voice our love and respect too. So MEN, here's your chance to step up to the plate. God bless.
