Homemade trail mix is great. My fave mix is pistachios, dried cherries and semi-sweet chocolate chips. I also like low-fat cottage cheese beause its so filling, they come in individual snack cups and you could add toppings. I also like hummus w/ veggies.
hard boiled eggs - some stores do sell them already to go ! pickles nuts seeds sunflower and pumpkin pork rinds raw veggies greek yogurt has lots of protein

I am traveling next week on business, and I'll be flying and also spending about 3 days in a car as I travel around to visit my customers. I'd like to keep some low carb snacks with me so if I get hungry on the plane, in the car, or at the hotel, I'm not tempted to eat something that I shouldn't.
I'm not a big fan of jerky...any other ideas for something that I can keep with me? I do plan to buy a small cooler to keep in the car with me to hold my water and maybe some string cheese, so I can keep some things that require refrigeration.
