Read "SHRINK YOURSELF" by Roger Gould, M.D. I got it at the library. He has a web site. He says we have to learn to manage stress.

After reading several articles and reading a few motivational stories, I'm baffled. I have had a couple of days where I let stress take me to my comfort food zone for a bit. Eating high calorie food to make myself feel better. Then feeling bad afterwards for doing that.
I look at how I started the program and in the first week I lost 7 lbs. Then one day had a bad stressor and fell of track. The next day after writing a blog and messages on SP, several of my Spark Friends made me accountable for my actions, not letting me use excuses. Then they gave me the push I neede to get back on track. They made me accept responsibility for what I had done, and did not let me make unnacceptable excuses. emoticon emoticon
