I think it's great that you found your balance with calories in/out! I think that's the hardest part to changing our eating habits but once it is discovered and is mastered....the weight does just drop off!
Keep up the good work!

It may have taken me 2 and a half years to finally start seeing results, but I am.
In the last couple of months, I've finally figured out the key to my successful weight loss and am sticking to a plan.
I don't really call it dieting, but more watching what I eat and how much I eat.
In the last few months I have lost about 20lbs, which is more than I've ever been able to lose at all.
Changing my diet and the way I look at food has helped. I don't bother eating out as much as I used to, that was probably my biggest problem. But I knew that if I was to lose this weight, I needed to stop doing this and bring healthy food for lunch every day.
This has helped, and it's changed my way of thinking about how much I eat as well. I try not to eat when I'm bored, and I try not to eat junk food as well. I have found that this was my worst enemy, junk food. Once I cut it out of my diet, I started to lose weight.
Now it's summer and it's extremely hot outside. I'm drinking more water every day, sweating more than ever before, and that's been helping as well.
The one good thing about this weight loss is what it's been doing for me with my back pain. The pinched nerve was something I thought I'd have to live with for the rest of my life. Once I started losing the weight though, I didn't notice the pain as much, and now it's pretty much gone.
That makes me happy, knowing that the worst of my pain is gone and that it was caused by excess weight. As long as I don't gain it back, I wont feel the pain anymore.
Since starting with SparkPeople in November of 2009, I've lost just shy of 30lbs. I have another 30-40lbs to lose still, and am hoping to lose much of that before the summer is over.
I want to have children, but I need to be at a lower weight in order to do this, so that's a good reason to lose it.
