Hit the gym, or do something else you love. I head out to the yard and do some cleaning outside which clears my head.

I second the run. Running is simple to do and requires little planning. But I would extend that to say any intense exercise, really. Somehow the concerns of the day melt away when I'm underneath and staring at a fully loaded barbell.

Going for a run is a great way to clear your head and relax. I always feel better after a run.

I still have a problem with evening snacking/eating, but I have tried to sub in fruits and healthy snacks like Greek Yogurt instead of the chips I used to devour at night, in my stress release.
I think my 3+mile jogs every other day in spring/summer/fall, and treadmill sessions in the winter, help me quite a bit to control stress....... But as a lawyer, stress is a constant companion for me, and I have trouble with it. i can only imagine what I'd be like today had I not taken up walking/jogging/running 2 years ago!
I'm sure there are several of you out there like me: I am in the habit of eating when I get stressed. Food is the great comforter for me. Obviously I have had to find different things to destress since I have been striving to live a healthier lifestyle. What do you fellas do to deal with stress?
