I try to stick with monthly I don't anticipate too much change, as the weight has slowed to an abysmal crawl.

I measure once a month. Measurements decrease slower than the scale so it wouldn't be much of difference week to week. Especially now that I'm only losing 1 lbs/week. My measurements shrunk a lot quicker in the beginning because I was losing weight faster.
"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.

Measure once a month. I haven't done it for 3 months and was pleasantly surprised when I'd lost 2 inches everywhere but my thighs!

I check once a month. In my experience, measurements don't change in one week, so why frustrate yourself by not seeing any change. :)
