I think it's a great show .On tv you only have skinny woman roles mostly but guys can be fat. It sets up a double standard. Then you have a show that shows people struggling with there weight which seems more realistic than biggest loser. I still love biggest loser but it gives the view that in 11 weeks you can lose 100+ lbs which isn't happening. You should give it a try before you judge it just my opinion.
MIKE AND MOLLY IS A GREAT SHOW!!! AND SO FUNNY, I LOVE MIKE'S MOM AND THE DOG, JIM, TOO, AND MIKE'S PARTNER'S NANA... REDSHOES, THE SHOW REALLY DOESN'T DESENSITIZE THE ISSUE OF WEIGHT. THEY ATTEND OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS AND ONE SHOW M&M ACTUALLY LEFT ON THANKSGIVING TO GO TO A MEETING. AND THE FOCUS IS NOT ALWAYS WEIGHT, BUT RELATIONSHIPS. MIKE WEARS A C-PAP FOR SLEEP APNEA, AND IF YOU SEE THAT THERE IS NOTHING SHOUTING OUT THIS IS JUST FINE BUT A WARNING WHAT CAN HAPPEN WITH WEIGHT ISSUES.. SHE MADE A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE, AND IT IS TIME FOR ALL PEOPLE TO BE REPRESENTED!

She did look good. I did not know the other information about the gown choice. But that is cook to know that she thought about her viewers.
Does anyone no why her voice has seemed to change?

I don't watch this sort of show because it de-sensitives people about weight problems..
I don't watch the show, but I saw the commercial for the wedding episode. I just wanted to say that I'm glad the show has a plus-size woman in it. I feel like a lot of comedies and shows in general all have size 2 or 4 women, and the guys can be overweight actors, but the women can't. So this is different!
I have to say that I was so happy when I saw how BEAUTIFUL they made Molly (the plus size actress) look on the finale of the show in her wedding gown. This show finally portrays people of size in a good way, I also loved hearing that she didn't get a designer gown , she wanted the gown she picked to be accessible to the average plus sized bride. Kudos to the show and to the actress!
