I had a full physical before I started this. According to the doctor, I'm healthy as an ox - just overweight. I'm guessing whoever said I'm just noticing it more now was probably right. I'm doing between 10 and 15 glasses a day.
I had coffee yesterday and didn't make eight glasses. I think the caffeine is "turning off" my thirst. Doesn't make sense but I'm going to run with it.

Jillita i'm hoping that was a typo and not 80 glasses of water but 8..80 would be dangerous!!!
If you notice excessive thirst I would advise you to mention it to your doctor. If its just that you like the water thats GREAT!! I love ice water..drink it all day about 12-14 cups..i have a 74 ounce mug i fill at night..its insulated and holds the ice all the next day. i ususaly do one and a half of them a day and LOVE it!!
Great job on drinking healthy water!!

For me I feel its more that I am more conscious of what is going on, I am drinking water now rather than anything else, I don't know if I'm more thirsty or just paying attention to what was always there.
Yeah, I'm going with it. Just seems weird. Before when I was thirsty I would have 1 cup of coffee and be find. Now I down a bottle or two of water to feel the same way.

Yeah! I used to not drink water very often. A few years ago I started drinking water (plain). I was going to a weight loss place and they told me to drink 80 cups a day of water. Then I got hooked. I do drink alot of water. I have about 5 water bottles in my fridge and of all different sizes. Just do it!.
Did anyone notice a change in how thirsty you feel when you started drinking water? I NEVER drank water before joining here. I drank coffee all day long, sometimes 2+ pots and maybe a half of a Gatorade before bed. I never felt thirsty.
Since I joined here, I have one coffee a day and the rest of the day I drink water. I'm noticing my thirst more now. So anyone notice this?
