I ran my first 5k race on Sunday, and I didn't have to walk once! I run so slowly that the people around me kept switching between walking and running, but I told myself that I couldn't stop running at all. I trained 4-5 days per week for the past 6 weeks, and I wasn't going to let myself down on race day!
I finished with an official 34:57 time. I want to keep running to get my time down to under 30, but I'm super proud of myself for now. I've idly thought of running a 5k since 2006, so Sunday was a very big day for me. :)
