Right now I'm recovering from surgery so I take a nap almost every day. When I go back to work in 3 weeks I work third shift full time so my sleep is more like 2-3 long naps depending on what I need to do for the day.
I usually get naps unexpectedly like when I really sit still for longer than 20 minutes - I doze off and before I know it I wake up and though it has only been 15 minutes or so, I feel so much better. Probably if i planned a nap, I wouldn't be able to relax enough to do so.

I have a real hard time without naps. I usually don't get as much sleep as I need, and the naps make up the difference. My naps usually only last 10 min. from the time I lay down to the time I get up. Lately I've been reading about how important naps are for you.

I don't think they hurt, however your body will let you know when and if you need it! Why wait?!?!

I have no idea if naps are harmful, but sometimes I feel better if have one.

I try not to take a nap because it really effects my sleep at night, but today was a wonderful nap day, I got about 35 mins
