I've been struggling with a lot lately (medical issues, car issues, phone, issues, $$$) but have been doing well with my eating habits since I started back w Spark a few weeks ago.

Today everything hit me at once. Both the car and phone broke down today. Within an hour of each other! I reached for a snickers, and for the first time recognized myself choosing food for comfort. I hadn't really though about it before.

I thought about it....thought about the calories and the type of food it was and what it meant to eat for comfort. But I still chose to eat the snickers.

However I didn't let that part of the day ruin my eating. I've had a sensible dinner and am about to take a walk. But the events that led to that choice are still overwhelming. :-/

I could use some smiley faces. Please!!


I did go on that walk. Enjoying nature and a little prayer helped a lot ;-)
