I struggle with motivation too... I will do great for a while, then everything gets crazy and I start caving in and give up again!

Came across something on Spark Coach that I wanted to share, though, and it was imagining how you will feel tonight when you go to bed- would you feel good about meeting all your goals, or would you feel defeated for not even trying?

I don't know about you, but I love going to bed with a great feeling knowing I accomplished everything I set out to do that day. This really helped motivate me to reach my goals today, even though I didn't feel like it! And now I'm relaxing with a movie knowing I got it all done!!

I struggle with motivation myself. When my motivation is very low (for eating well, excising, or work projects) I try to force myself to accomplish one thing from my to-do list. Maybe I send just one email, drink a few glassed of water before lunch, or do 10 minutes of exercise. I find that the sense of accomplishment I get from just crossing this one thing off my list (and that is the other part, write it down, I literally have a list, the visual aid also helps) helps create some positive energy and motivation to do even more. emoticon
