That's great that you are doing it for your son too. I am kinda in the same shoes... I had my son in 2010 and only gained the regular 30lbs during the pregnancy. But after he was born I had really bad PPD which turned me into an eating machine. I ended gaining 70lbs by the time he turned a year old. Sad, I know but now I am turning things around. I want to set a better example for him :)

Welcome to Spark! My son is two and a half months old, so I'm definitely in the same boat as you, trying to lose the weight. It's not easy with a little one, but it's worth it! Good luck!

Hi! I am new to SparkPeople and also a new Mom. My son is 6 months old. I lost most of my pregnancy weight but was still 50 lbs overweight when I got pregnant. I'm bound and determined to start this new lifestyle and show my son a healthier life.
