welcome! We are really similar. I'm 31 yrs old and around 160 lbs, I want to get back down to 135 (I got to that weight a few years ago when I started really watching my weight.)
and... I ALSO have a husband who says I look so great etc. etc. etc. Not very helpful, but I guess I would prefer him to say that, than the opposite! It does mean I need extra motivation from the spark :)

Welcome! This is a great site -- just gotta stick with it (something I've been having a tough time with during the holidays). But I've got my renewed sense of motivation back (stepped on scale today -- eek!). Good luck and welcome!

Welcome to Spark. You have taken an important step on your journey by joining! I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going! Explore the site, make your Sparkpage if you haven’t, join teams, and make friends. Thanks SO much Guys. I Had never Joined A teams group I just use the tracking of calories and the Exercise. So today I joined A group 30 and lose 25-49...I am excited to start this all over! I can do this!!!!!!
Take time to participate on all the groups you have joined - you will find lots of help and encouragement there.
Have you been tracking your food and exercise - if not consider doing this for a period of about 2 weeks or more if possible - you might be surprised with the calorie limit you are consuming - either not enough or to much.

Welcome! Maybe you should try re-starting your spark plan from the beginning- set up spark streaks and small goals, make small changes, track your nutrition and activity regularly. Spark now has a TON of great workout videos on the site (that are free!) and you can do those inside when it's cold out! I would also recommend joining some spark teams- they can be a great source of motivation and support!
I joined Sparks people a few years ago. I have struggled and lost 20 pounds. and then I hit this Flat can't lose anything. I Try really hard then i give up. I haven't gained back my 20 pounds but i am almost to the point of being depressed due to not losing anymore. I live in the country and Am not able to join a gym. I do walk out in our pasture but when its Cold i find it hard to motivate my self. I have 2 kids, 6 and 4 years old. I have been so obsessed with losing weight they are concerned about getting fat. They do say "don't eat that its not healthy" and then "lets go jump its exercise." I just need some encouraging words cause My husband says he loves me the way I am but I really really want to get back down to 135....and I am currently at 173.
