You are sounding a little discouraged. I think that you are doing GREAT! I am sure that you sweated out a lot of work over the weekend. That should count for something! So happy to see you doing a new streak.

Day 1.

Again. This weekend was just impossible to stay on track. My boyfriend is filming a movie, and I was asked to cater the shoots. I spent the whole weekend (9am till 1:30 am every day!!) cooking and cleaning. I had to cook 3 good meals a day for about 15 people. I had no time to work out...eventhough I probably lost weight from the kitchen heat and not eating since I was cooking!!

I'm starting a new topic for my streak. poo

I know what you mean! My husband and daughter eat junk all the time. All that stuff that smells sooooo good like pizza and french fries or coneys! Its torture. I always make sure I eat before they do so im not hungry, and if its realy killing me I go grab an apple or grapes or something like that. Its not coneys or pizza but it helps keep my mind off of what they are eating. I just try to picture my "skinny self" and pizza aint gonna get me there!

A 50 day food streak can be tough at your age. I found that once I passed 35, food control got easier because I had already eaten everything worth eating about a thousand times each.

Day 10. It seems like I havent' posted in a loooonnng time.
I'm doing all right.
My new focus is to eat better. It's extremely hard in my office. There is always something to snack on, or a party, or a lunch. It's gonig to happen. I have to work out the right eating program, and when I do, I will begin a streak! And I will streak for at least 50 days! with food, it'll be a lot harder than with working out. I enjoy food and working out, so pehaps if I just find the right balance, I can keep eating some of what I want, and increase my intensity of workout!! man, I'm all talk. I really need to start doing this!!

Ola...Thanks for the great welcome. I am starting another streak and I am using that suggestion of yours to split the streaks into excercise and diet. Thanks for all the inspiration. You're awesome!

I bet some of your neighbors also love it when you streak the neighborhood - - until their wives catch them looking for too long a time period. And Yes!!!!!! Chris is The Spark!!!!!!!!!

I'm very inspired by Cyprinodon and By chris of spark people! He is actually the on that inspired Cyp and myself! I'm on day 3, and going strong! I almost didn't do it this morning, but then I thought, I can't lose another streak so quickly! I went for a run, and I feel great! It's so funny, how awful I feel when I'm first waking up, but then when I get done running, I feel amazing!!! I love streaking thru my neighborhood!!(tee hee, a little *spark* humor!!) Keep it up ladies and gents!!!!! Keep it up!

Hey Olamac, That six day handicap thing sounds like a great idea. Perhaps I will incorporate that into my plan also so that I am not quite so rigid. I'm watching and cheering for you! You have some long streaks. Very inspiring.

Hey I sent a message to Cyp that I meant for you. It went something like this. See what you started. Because you had the nerve to post your results for the streak/goal I figured that I could do it also. I am in day 1 of a two month streak. Yikes! Here goes...........Yippee....

I like how you did your medium goal handicap. I might use it as an example to follow.

I have fallen off the wagon again! I have once again begun my streak.
This streak is a little different!

I'm doing a 100 day exercise streak. If I get 100, then I will proceed to 1,000! I am now on day 2! I will do it this time! 100 days is no time at all if you ask me! Short term goals are better for me to start off with!

Short term: Beat current self-record of streak. 34 days.
Medium term: 100 day exercise streak. Can miss 1 day a week, but that day doesn't count as part of the streak. (so if I do 6 out of 7 in that week, I'm still only on day 6).
Long term: 1,000 day streak
(lose 35 lbs)

First off......WAHOO!

Start:
I want to lose 40 lbs.(but will be very happy with 20-25).
I want to increase muscle mass, decrease fat.
I want to be able to run a 5k this fall!
I want to fit in a size 8. (size 14 currently)

I'm currently at 183(finally lost 3 lbs...haven't been able to lose an ounce for 5 months, and it's finally beginning to come off!!! wahoo!)
I'm 5'9", I've always been athletic, but the last few years, I've stopped working out and gained about 30 pounds. ick.

workout plan.
45-60 min. daily.(OR MORE....I CAN ALWAYS DO MORE IF I HAVE MORE TIME!) Cardio with some strength (increase muscle to lose fat!)

I need to learn how to eat better! No more candy or chips!

I've began the 1,000 day streak 9 days ago(for the third time! my record so far is 34 days!).

I will keep posting my success story here! I will be sucessful! I have to be....I've began this post, and I have to complete it now! This is my new goal..to keep this updated, and to keep it going!

Feel free to post and also start your own success story! We will all get there! I know it!
