I caught about two minutes of it, I couldn't watch anymore of those cornerbacks. Also, If Eli pulled off those 4th quarter comebacks, 4900+ yards passing with 11 TDs / 1 pick in the playoffs so far it has nothing to do with his last name.
Still not sure why Matt Stafford is not in the Pro Bowl. I would have had him in over Eli even though he has owned the 4th quarter this year (having the last name of Manning probably doesn't hurt either).
I think the Packers, Saints and 49ers are better than any team in the AFC so by that logic I think the Super Bowl is definitely going to belong to the NFC this year. I am also a Lions fan but we have to beat the Packers this weekend to have any chance of tasting a playoff victory.
The Ravens could easily beat the Packers in my opinion but the Texans (though unproven) may another team that could challenge the packers. The Patriots!? Che'yeah, no way!
The loss against the Chargers were due to the Raven's corners who were pOWNED that game (Williams/Smith) and guess what? The Ravens need work against the Pass-Rush.
This year the Ravens have an outstanding team. All of their loses were "flukes" and the other team didn't beat them, the Ravens made minor errors that turned into losses. The Ravens could easily have a record like the packers and if they should meet the Packers in the Super Bowl would certainly beat them.
THIS, coming from a die-hard Steelers fan.....just stating the facts about how good the Ravens are this year.
Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, Haloti Ngata, Ray Rice & Vonta Leach have ALL been named AFC Pro Bowl STARTERS! Marshal Yanda is a backup. CONGRATS to our 7 Pro Bowlers!
Did you know that is 40% more than the Steelers are sending?
