Great ideas, Pookie!

When I want a high-protein breakfast, I just still a small scoop of vanilla protein powder into my morning oatmeal. It adds a little sweetness and a quick shot of protein.

Peanut or other nut butters are delicious as they melt on top.

And to seem totally decadent (but it isnt!) add some un-sweetened cocoa to the oats, then the PB... my goodness if that isnt delicious!

Another suggestion is savoury.... bacon and onions cooked together then add the oatmeal to the pan and cook until a little thicker than normal consistency.

I love having a hot bowl of oatmeal in the morning. I do add 1/2 cup of skim milk to it but am looking for ideas to add some kind of good protein to it. Any suggestions?
