Everyone is correct here. You can't spot burn areas for better results. Those videos that claim to do that for you are lying. They can sure make your core, butt or thighs strong, but unless your body loses weight and fat, they won't be any more tone. Why they do work is by making the muscles underneath the fat strong and building that muscle, so that when you DO lose the surrounding fat, they look better. So work your abs, but your pouch is stuck until you lose the extra weight.

Your body doesn't notice the difference between a calorie you ate at 7pm and one at 7am. A calorie is a calorie. Unless it is too many.

And if you lose weight slowly, your skin will stick with you. FOr example, my stomach skin was pretty loose after having a baby. It is starting to shrink back up, and as I lose weight, I am sure that it will continue. Some never does catch up, but usually your skin will eventually catch up with you.

1. I agree with Clickmaster - it is the total amount that you eat that matters, not the timing.
2. Burning fat is an all-body process, and unfortunately you can't target where you lose weight from. Energy is delivered to the muscles via the bloodstream, NOT from being absorbed from surrounding fat stores. Specific exercises will build up the core muscles, but will do absolutely nothing about the overlying layer of fat.
3. Losing weight gradually (as against crash diets) gives your skin the chance to shrink with you. Drinking plenty of water can help your skin maintain its elasticity.

1. It doesn't matter if you eat after 7pm. What matters is how many calories you consume during each 24 hour period and how many you expend. How you manage that is up to you. However, most people prefer to not eat close to bed time so they can sleep through their hungry time and enjoy their digestive satisfaction while awake.

2. Kangaroos have a pouch. If you want help with what you have, you'll need to identify it accurately. It could be skin, subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, spinal lordosis, etc. We can't know what you have if you just call it a "pouch".

3. There's no way to prevent loose skin if it is to be. Adding muscle may help but it rarely makes a noticeable difference. Fat is 2.5 times more volume than muscle for a given weight and it's much more difficult to add muscle than fat. Surgery is usually the only solution.

Good luck and good health!!
