I raked all over the neighborhood this year, lol. I needed about 30 bags of leaves to cover my gardens and don't have trees in my yard. I really enjoyed the workout but then again I'm one of those crazy people who likes to shovel snow and mow lawns!
I always find myself really using my abs as I rake wet leaves (the only kind we have at this point in the fall). It is a good workout - and you can actually see the results of your efforts for a while afterwords, too. :)
never have really appreciated raking leaves.... especially since I've "aged"...but learning you can burn 300 calories in an hour...holy moly... I can handle a backache for that... actually since I've been exercising.....it doesn't bother quite as much as it used to. cool, huh
