For a heartier snack, you could try the Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins. I ran across it very early in my Sparking and it's been a favorite ever since. You could use a mini-muffin pan so they are more "snack" size.
I try to keep tangelo's peeled and ready to eat ! Also peanuts in the shell all the time takes awhile to eat them !

Breakstone cottage cheese in 4 oz. containers are SO satisfying. Also 1 pc. cheese,; I like Provolone. Quaker mini caramel rice cakes are a good choice. 100 cal. Popcorn bags.

i totally agree with hard boiled eggs and string cheese...both are very inexpensive but have good protein in them. you can try homemade versions of trail mix. also make a BIG bowl of fruit salad. people can snack on that all day if they'd like. better then chips! :D
make some microwave popcorn at home and portion it out. sprinkle some parmasan cheese on it or a bit of cinnamon/sugar
string cheese and some grapes
cut up veggies and fat free ranch dressing for dipping
hard boiled eggs and a few fat free crackers

+Mix smoked salmon (lox), red onions and capers with ch�vre or Neufchatel cheese and serve with celery sticks--yum!
+Hummus with veggie dippers
+fruit skewers with cheese or other protein (ham)

Hi all, I'm pretty new to this, but I was wondering if anyone has any snack recipes that can be shared. A few coworkers and I have decided to join SP, but we ALWAYS share snacks at work. We are looking for healthy items that can be passed from person to person. Any ideas?
