so, yeah, doesn't smell great upon opening the bag but follow the instructions.. rinse, microwave for 1 minute, dry with paper towels.. (this gets rid of most of the original smell). I actually really like these and if you do the macaroni, mix it with mozerrella that melts well and you have homemade mac n cheese and it tastes delicious (in my opinion). Mozerralla gets sticky quick, so don't overcook. It's also good with clams and red sauce. I was going to try a pesto sauce with pine nuts once, but haven't done that yet.

Tried them-don't like them. Really stink when open! Slimey texture, and leaves a gassy bloated feeling. YUCK!

Thank you, all, for posting your thoughts about these noodles. It's much appreciated. I just may have to give them a try.

I use them all the time. I've heard from others people that they can't stand them, but you should try them and see for yourself.

IMO - They are a teensie bit "rubbery" - but hey, for a big bowl of noodles for practically zero calories, and no chemical ingredients, I'm a happy camper!

I have never tried these noodles. Please post your pros and cons about Shirataki noodles.

Thank you!
