FYI, I started with a couch to 5k plan on my treadmill. Could barely run for 2 minutes at the beginning. I never, ever thought I would be able to run for 38-40 minutes. Even though my pace is slow, I'm amazed at the progress I have made :)

I have a 5k/Obstacle Course coming up on May 5th. I've been training since October. (I've never been a distance runner and still can only go 3 miles) I've done 2 regular 5k races in the last month and one more this weekend. I'm really looking forward to adding in the obstacles. I will post again after I complete the race! Good luck to you :)

I signed up for my first 5k! I am in the Jailbreak 5k to be held in October here in Houston. Even though it's far away now, it's giving me great motivation to use my couch 2 5k app regularly so I can have a good run and get stronger. I'm really excited and also nervous (Already!) about how it will go.

Has anyone run obstacle 5k's in the past and have any tips for me?
