I've been a member a little more than two years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going!

Hey there. My name is Kelly, I am 36 years old. I am a married Christian with three boys from 9-16. I am motivated by others success. I often go on youtube just to listen to success stories. While checking my email the other day, I clicked on a success story and she mentioned sparkpeople. So here I am, I don't really know how all this works. But hopefully someone will choose to be my friend and will help to keep me motivated:) Mini goal right now 20 pounds to lose. total to lose 35, which won't quite get me out of overweight bracket, but I will still be happy with it : )
I love working out with weights and hate cardio, but do it anyway. I love Chalene Johnson (Chalean Extreme, Turbo Jam).. Because she's so motivating. And because I can do it at home without leaving the "Family".
