I'm sure walking does all kinds of wonderful things. At least that's what my health professionals tell me. For instance, increased circulation, which brings oxygen-rich blood to the heart and brain, greater lung capacity, keeping the body a little more flexible. Keep up the good work!

In my job, I walk all day. Basically nonstop (30 minutes for lunch). I wear a pedometer and am averaging 16,000 steps a day. I know this is doing wonders for my legs. There is no excess fat on them! I am 64 and in reasonable health, considering my history. just wondering, does all this walking have any other benefit other than fit legs? Oh, this walking also includes 4 floors of stairs done probably 4 times per day.
