You can build your own Huarache sandals to any size, inexpensively:

Instructions are on the site for making them. You could slip in a gel insole if you wanted to.

Not sure how well they'd perform for activities other than simple running & walking.

You might also want to check with a specialty running/walking store to see what they have available and what they'd recommend.

I'm pretty sure New Balance now makes a minimalist shoe. I think that's one of the pairs my husband gets. You should check out joesnewbalanceoutlet.com. They often have really great deals. Other than that, I can't help you, sorry!

I am in desperate need of a new pair of sneakers but am having trouble finding the right ones. I am a big fan of the "minimalist" shoe for cross-training but have not been able to find a wide version. I currently wear New Balance because I have a EEE width. Does anyone know of any company that makes this type of shoe really wide. An example of the shoe is the Rebook Reflex. Thank you.
