Love the idea!
I'm an ink-lover and I'm finishing my half back inked next month, so I guess that doesn't make me very objective on this one... But if inking it is not commitment, what is?! :D
Good luck with your goals and hope you get that tattoo completed soon :)

I love goals that are not food centric. You want to achieve a permanent lifestyle change. I think a permanent reminder in the form of a tatoo is a great idea. Good luck!

I love the idea. It is subtle and has the potential to be really motivating - I am not a tattoo person but respect each person's right to choose what they want to do. I can see that adding letters individually for the last word makes it really essential that you get it ALL done. You are probably a very creative person and you are sure to have great success.

I have been wanting a new tattoo for quite a long while now. I couldn't decide what i wanted or where. So last monday i was reading some motivational quotes. I came across : Dream, Believe, Achieve! This totally made sense since my motto is if i don't dream or believe that something can happen, it can't be achieved. Pretty obvious right?

So my plan is, and i want your feed back on this, to get the first 2 words tattooed on the inside of my wrist and for every 10 pounds down, get one letter of the word A-C-H-I-E-V-E done underneath. This will push me to work even harder towards my goal or i'll never have a completed tattoo. Then the finished product will be a reminder of where i come from and where i never want to go back.

I'm excited and nervous at the idea of doing this. Please tell me what you think!
