Working through the pain usually works for me, but the days I can not do that I just take Naproxen (Aleve). But each to his own...

My best friend is a Body Builder so he turned me to L-glutamine to ease DOMS(Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness). I like the L-glutamine chewies by bentacort mainly because they taste like sweet tarts but they are sugar free.

I use BCAA's like "power shock" or "xtend" they work well for me.
I also sip amino energy by "ON",,, during the day when im cutting and going carb free. Its basically caffeine and BCAA's

Have you tried NSAIDs? Yea, oddly enough, I'm less sore today than yesterday and I didn't skip any workouts. The soreness is from lifting not running and I've been stretching a ton. Thanks for the feedback. I should be over this in 4 days or so, hopefully.

Soreness is very much one of those YMMV. Some ideas:

1) stretching
2) light cardio
3) tighten up your diet
4) foam rollers
5) ice
6) heat

The best thing for temporary relief for me personally is to exercise, as strange as that sounds.

Super sore here... For some reason it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to ease into workouts after a long hiatus. I know that time is really the only thing, or easing into workouts, that helps limit/get over soreness but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with taking BCAA's or if they are really worth the money. Are there any foods that could help? Should I up my protein intake to 1-1.5x's my body weight? I eat about 145g a day.
