Keeping track of sugar seems like a great idea! It looks like the best way to do that is to keep track of total carbohydrates, right? (Not all carbs have exactly the same biological activity, but it looks like this is the best rule-of-thumb way to keep track.) Is that right? Thanks for the feedback.
I really want to keep track of how much total sugar I'm consuming so I can cut down on it if necessary. You guys have all different types of sugars listed in the additional nutrients to track like maltose and fructose, but no "total sugar." I feel like this would be especially helpful because most food labeling in the US only lists total sugar and not what kind of sugar.
