Try experimenting......I like Progresso low sodium tomato soup, I always add 1/2 cup pinto beans. healthy and low calorie. Try putting in cooked rice. Another good one is V-8 juice, warmed , with rice or veggies or whatever of your choice .................

mmm... I wish I did! A friend of a friend used to make a HUGE pot at a big camping gathering that they used to have and it was out of this world! Unfortunately she has passed on so I can't get that recipe.

When I was a child my mom would make tomato rice soup with a Portuguese roll every Thursday for lunch when we came home from school.
I wish I had that recipe. I know she used stewed tomatoes and maybe beef broth but other than that I really don't know.
Would anyone have a recipe for good old fashioned tomato rice soup?
