Hi BECSISLOSINGIT,

If you are not using the stairs as a cardio workout, consider this a part of your active daily living activities. Just know that SparkPeople, when they determine your calorie range, factors in an active daily multiplier for these activities so counting this as exercise could hyper-inflate your calories burn goal and slow your progress. That being said, the more active you are, the more calories you are burning even if you are tracking them in your My Fitness Tracker. GREAT JOB!!! And keep up the AWESOME job! emoticon

How does that factor in to my daily exercise routine? Is there any way to track how many calories I burn from climbing the stairs? I don't climb the stairs continuously for minutes at a time; I climb up and down four flights of stairs at least 4 to 5 times daily. Is this even considered exercise? I am new to this. :)
