Good for you!! I find that not watching TV lets me be more creative. I've also found out that doing posts and talking about what is and isn't working in our lives is more help than I ever could have imagined. I refuse to feel guilty for spending an hour in the morning entering food, tracking exercise and talking to people. It's wonderful to be with people my own age who are experiencing similar things. HURRAH for SparkPeople.

Since I turned 50 I have found that I need to do more. A good thing that I do is go out to movies, coffee and lunch. To me it is important to get out and do things rather than just staying at home at night and doing nothing. Going out to do a bit of dancing is also something else that I'm doing. I used to do a lot of these things in the past but got lazy. Staying at home watching tv has been a big part of my life up until recently. So there is more to life than the box at home that I used to do. Yes! I am part of the Over 50's Group and a very select group that is worthwhile and meaningful. emoticon
