Yep the sugar "is" probably killing you. Here are some facts that may help you refrain from your sweets. Sugar raises blood pressure. Sugar can produce a significant rise in triglycerides. Sugar can produce an acidic digestive tract. Sugar can increase cholesterol. Sugar can damage the pancreas, the heart, the kidney. Sugar promotes excessive food intake in obese people Sugar leads to cancer of the breast, ovaries, prostate, and rectum. Sugar can contribute to diabetes.Sugar can increase the size of the liver by making the liver cells divide. a FATTY LIVER IS NOT GOOD. Sugar feeds cancer. ( 60 MINUTES HAD A REPORT ON SUGAR) Sugar interferes with absorption of calcium and magnesium. Sugar can cause premature aging. WRINKLES AND SUCH!!!!
AND THERE ARE SO MANY MORE REASONS NOT TO EAT SUGAR, IF THIS DOES NOT SCARE YOU NOTHING WILL. I hope you give it up! Good Luck

I agree with previous posters, fruit always helps me kick most sugar cravings. Also when i do crave something, I TRY to get out for a little walk. I always have junk in the house for my son and husband (not a lot but they like little treats) but if i get away for a little bit I can normally forget about the goodies. lol. If I decide I REALLY want something, I have it. Moderation is key but deprivation will eventually cause a binge (based on my experience). Good luck on your journey!!

I am a penny candy junkie, but I have noticed when I am eating correctly my cravings are diminished. Summer is coming and the fresh fruit should do the trick.
Thanks for the advise. A nutritionist might be a good idea for me to look into. As far as not bringing sweets in the house that impossible unfortunantly. My fiance is tiny and has to eat around a 3500 calorie a day diet. He runs marathons etc. so we have to make sure he is getting plenty of calories.

Since those are trigger foods for you, don't buy them, don't bring them in your house. When you feel the urge to nibble, do something else instead... maybe even go for a walk.

You sound like someone who might benefit from a trip to a nutritionist. There is very little anyone can say here: we don't know what you will and won't eat and without knowing your restrictions, we can't really offer you ideas on how to get a balanced and healthy diet. A nutritionist can sit down with you, go over all your limits, and (hopefully) come up with a plan that is both healthy and works for you.
You don't have much in your food tracker: you need to start logging what you eat at the very least. What you do have there is entirely packaged processed convenience food...all of it. You need to work on moving away from that type of consumption. This is where you need the nutritionist's help to find things that aren't unhealthy processed foods that fit within your restrictions.
I have been on a yo yo diet for over a year. I will do really well for about a month and then it stops. My biggest problem is sweets! I can't seem to stop putting them in my mouth! Also, I am a very picky eater. Please don't lecture me on trying foods, because I am willing to try just about anything and it doesn't matter. I just don't like a lot of stuff. Please Help! I need all the advise I can get!
