Thanks everyone all these tips are going to help a great deal while on my journey. Someone asked where I was i'm in the beginning I need to lose about 100 + lbs not sweating the number I got this thanks again.

- Keep busy from the moment you wake up till you go to bed. Find a lot of work to do, and if you can, find work that you like. - For weekends, find enjoyable activities. - Go to bed early, wake up early. - Stop promoting eating: Don't eat while you are enjoying other activities, like browsing the web, watching TV, reading a good book, taking a walk, etc. - Promote exercise: Do exercise while watching TV, reading a good book, or browsing the web, if you can. Mix it up with your favorite activities. - Don't rush lifestyle changes. For lifestyle changes to happen, number one ingredient needed is time, and number two is to work on it patiently.

It sounds like sugar withdrawal to me...I associate it with being an addict who quits using...the first couple of weeks are the hardest...first the body has to adjust no drugs then the mind continues to play with the idea of using again even craving it. If you can just hang on and ride it out...you will have control over it and it won't have control over you. It took me almost 4 weeks before I wasn't craving, and my life didn't revolve around my next meal and being able to control my portions and hunger. But it did finally end, and though I still crave on occasion it is not nearly as bad or for as long.
If you aren't really hungry, then you are eating in response to something else. Try some journaling. If you understand what you are feeling, it will help you to make better decisions. Another option is to distract yourself, try knitting, playing cards, going for a walk, etc.

i buy those "smart ones" brand meals, and they have dessert items too. just eat in moderation, and you'll be saving yourself a lot of fat/calories. also it's good to start off a meal with soup or a salad... helps you feel fuller. for drinks, i buy that Mio brand water enhancer. no added sugars or calories, and you can get it in prettymuch any flavor you want. i like the "sweet tea" flavor the best. good luck! :)

I have days like that. I don't know where you are along your path, but I've nearly 75 lbs to lose, so I made a deal with myself. On days like that, i brew lots of tea, in a variety of flavors throughout the day (mint, chai, red zingers) to keep my tongue happy, and snack (for free, I don't track this on these days, cause part of my snacking was the idea that I was limiting myself) I snack on low cal veg with crunch. Celery, brocolli, cauliflour, green peppers, red peppers, etc.
Usually those two things help me get over my "I want to just eat and eat" days.
love the soda water idea. Great option!

I'll second seltzer! Look for naturally flavored seltzers with no sugar or sodium

Well it seems that I have more craving to eat no matter what it is. Its never been this way before and I don't know how to stop it. I just want to eat even when I'm not really hungry. I like sweets and soda which I'm a day down from having a soda. Just wanted to know if anyone have any tips.
