Today is 12,937 day of my life. I view today as a gift and hope to persevere and utilize all 24 hours of this gift, all 1,440 hours in this day, and all 86,400 seconds of this day. We counts points on SP so today I choose to count the moments of life that today offers for me to make good decisions that will fulfill the life of today, the here and now moments.

That should point you in the right direction. I find that if you just start looking around Spark, you will quickly learn about the wonderful tools available for your use. After being a Sparker since 2007, I still find something new and very useful.

emoticon Welcome to Spark. You have taken an important step on your journey by joining!
I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going!
Explore the site, make your Sparkpage if you havenít, join teams, and make friends. You will find this site an amazing place full of encouragement, inspiration, advice, and support.

I am so glad you took a moment to vent about the challenges you are facing!!! I so strongly believe that the Spark People community helps a LOT to feel that even the stuff you feel ashamed of is UNDERSTOOD! No one will judge. You might get urged to face something down, but even that comes from a place of caring and encouragement, not shaming or judgement. One thing at a time, baby steps, ask just a little of yourself for a few days, a small change. PRAISE yourself for the small success! Then ask another very small change of yourself. Gently, slowly! I can really relate to not being happy with yourself. I am working on letting go of some all-or-none thinking that makes me miserable. Hard stuff to face! Every effort in the right direction helps me grow. So, hang in there. It is sooooo worth it!

I am hoping I do better today with my eating. I start the day good, but do not end on a good note. I am weighing and measuring my food. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water or more a day. I know on my coffee that I need to eliminate my french vanilla creamer. Also need to stop hitting the snooze button on my alarm clock. I try to walk on my breaks and at lunch at work. I just need to make it a routine and just do it and stop making excuses. Which I seem to be full of lately. Not liking myself much today. Please forgive me for venting. But I know you understand. Please pray for me. I could sure use it today. Thank you. Hope everyone has a good day. Take care and GOD bless.
