So this is my third year participating in a Sprint distance tri. First year.. my goal was to complete it. Second year goal was to beat my time... I did that by 24 mins. This year..my goal is to beat my time again. One thing I have never been able to do, is to RUN the WHOLE 5K after swimming and biking... so that is also a goal this year... Yesterday I went to practice the course and WAS ABLE to run the WHOLE 5K at the end.. NO WALKING!! and also set my best ever 5K time....anyone who isn't a triathlete and thinks they can't be.... think again!! I am right smack in the middle of my weight loss journey, still have many pounds to lose, and during the run part particularly, I have to push myself to the limit....if I can do it so can you!!! 10 days till race day!!!!!!!
