I'm not aware of anyone else having these issues. Sorry I'm not more help!

I think I cleared the cache on Firefox - but it is still SOOOOOO slow! Is anyone else having trouble with pages loading for Spark People? Other pages open fine. I connect to the internet with a little 4g device that plugs into my computer (from Verizon.) Not sure what they call the little thing, but it plugs into one of four spots on the front of my computer, where you can plug in chargers, printers, etc. If I do anything to mess up the computer, I have no one to ask how to fix it, so I need really specific instructions to be willing to try anything.

I'm not guaranteeing it will fix the problem, but was just one suggestion.

If you clear the cache and or cookies, do all of your saved passwords go away? What are you actually getting rid of - is it anything you need? I have NO CLUE how to do this, but maybe it is somewhere in some kind of help menu that comes with the computer. NO CLUE where or how to look to find it. I have no one to ask about how to do things with the computer, or to help me if I mess it up seriously, so I'm afraid to touch anything or change anything or clear anything. It is slowing down a lot though.

Hi everyone

There's no issue with our servers and we haven't had other widespread complaints about this issue. I'd try clearing your cache and cookies from your computer and see if that speeds things up a little.

Hope that helps,

Well, at least I'm not the only one. I was hoping some Spark Staff People would see this, and look in to it. I actually go to other sites, do what I need to do - and the Spark Page tab is still spinning. Not long ago, I was having issues with getting the LIKE and TWEET points - I posted about it and LOADS of others did, too. Now, it seems to work better. So it pays to yell "Help"! emoticon

I, too, am having problems - only with Spark. Pages open slowly or time out. I'm running IE9 and it is up-to-date. I think that possibly Spark's servers may be overloaded.

Ooooh - thanks. That worked, and I was running version 11.0. I upgraded - let's see if it's faster. Spark People is still slower than anything else today, but not as bad as it was yesterday. emoticon emoticon

Clicking HELP on the top bar (on the left side) of Firefox, then selecting ABOUT FIREFOX, will let you see what version you are running.

Thanks for the reply. I went into ALL PROGRAMS and looked at FIREFOX/Properties - and I cannot find ANYTHING that tells me what version it is. How do you know if you need an update? By the way, it seems to be working better today - but yesterday was a nightmare with super slow loading - only on SparkPeople.

Sorry you are having trouble!
Are you running the latest Firefox... mine is 12.0 and I have had NO trouble or slow-downs.

Is anyone else having trouble getting Spark Pages to load? I couldn't do it on Firefox or Internet Explorer - finally downloaded Google - but the pages are opening very slowly or timing out. No problem with my connection - other sites are opening okay.
