You will have to find a plan that works for you.
Dieting, eating "right", losing weight are all mental as well as phsyical.
I know for me, I have a hard time with the idea of being "limited". It's just a game, of course, but I binge when I say "oh, i have to eat so little". So i do the "free vegie" trick from WW, (or rather, my doctor, in my case, is the one who suggested it) so that i don't feel limited.
It could also be that you were cheating you WW points. I'm not saying you were, or intentionally, just that the "points' are far less precise.
There are several groups here that are specific to weight waters and ex-weight watchers, if that was something that worked for you, you might check in with them.
